Anyone have suggestions for storing handguns in a safe built for long guns?
I have a safe made for 8 long guns; it is felt lined and I currently have 1 shotgun in the rack, 4 handguns laid on the floor of it, and 2 more on the top shelf.
The problem will be arising this weekend when two more handguns will be arriving (like thats a real problem![[smile]](/xen/styles/default/xenforo/smilies.vb/001.gif "Smile [smile]")
). I was thinking of building another shelf or installing hooks on the inside of the door....just fishing for suggestions before I ruin my safe.
Also I have 2 separate lockboxes for storing ammo so that takes up no space in the safe.
Any advice will be helpful.
(please don't say get another safe...this thing is huge and I only have one long gun)
