Shoot a few hundred rounds through it and it should get better. You could always get a dummy round and just sit and cock the hammer and pull the trigger while you're hanging around.
If you search the forum, you will find many threads about the P938 trigger. Yes, the trigger improves over time as stated in the previous post. I have come to realize that over 70% of the trigger pull weight is attributed to the actual geometry of the trigger to trigger bar and the spring that is in there. The reason the travel is so long is that it has to rotate the firing pin blocker out of the way before the sear dis-engages from the hammer.
