Don't believe the drivel that the MSM is telling you. There is NO way that Mr. and Mrs. America are going to give up 50% or more of their paychecks in order to get some freebies for "somebody else." Every time it LOOKS like we are headed that way, reality sets in for Americans and the Socialists run for the hills.

Socialism and gun control go hand in hand. You can't rape peoples income as easily when they are armed. I tried to explain this to my liberal BIL and he just does not get it.......doesn't believe that the liberal politicians he adores would ever have gun control in their platform for any nefarious reasons. Thats means nothing to shit for brains in office. This state is the perfect example along with many others. Explain why this state ignores this simple fact.
The Court ruled that the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution confers an individual right to possess a firearm for traditionally lawful purposes such as self-defense. It also ruled that two District of Columbia provisions, one that banned handguns and one that required lawful firearms in the home to be disassembled or trigger-locked, violate this right.

The Republicans aren't much better than the Democrats, but if any of you vote Democrat and you like your guns you are making the wrong decision. We need to organize and come together come election times.

Herb is right. The process is accelerating. Think back to 10 years ago. Then, think back to 20 and 30 years ago. My grandfather died in 1980. If we woke him up today, he’d be stunned. And he’d be pissed about what we let happen.
Ask him if he can determine the common denominator in all these pictures.
If he's a little slow, none of them could shoot back.

Yes I have. I live in Texas now. 56% of the population of Texas is non white yet Texas remains red and gun friendly. White people are a MINORITY in Texas at around 40% of the population. Let that sink in. The Blue-ing of TX ISN'T Hispanics, it’s white liberals moving in f rom CA, OR and WA.
It has nothing to do with demographics and everything to do with economics. 2nd and 3rd generation Americans tend to be more conservative than their immigrant parents. Further, in spite of what the Democrats would have you believe Hispanics aren’t a monolithic political block. It kills me when people lump Hispanics into a single block. The Hispanic world covers 1/4 of the globe. The biggest thing they have in common is language. Expecting them to respond the same way politically would be like lumping Americans in with Brits and Aussies and expecting political alignment.
