This doesn't surprise me, in a post-heller/macdonald era, the court is very eager to "punt" on as many of these cases as they can get away with....

I think I need to take some Constitutional Law classes, because I clearly don't get it. Are we forced to give quarter to soldiers because we have spare rooms that aren't being used?

Hard to tell what’s going on as none of the justices commented. It will be interesting if (when) AG’s like our’s attempt more non-legislative lawmaking and force SCOTUS’s hand.
