New Version of the Forum Slow - or is it my setuup?

Man,

It's almost painful these days the forum is running so slow on my setup. I'm using Firefox 3.5.7 w/Comcast and I've noticed huge delays with the link into google-analytics and other embedded links. Can anyone help me out with a solution to speeding the whole think up? It has to be the slowest forum I haunt and it didn't used to be before the changeover.

Same here, except I'm on IE7.
The DSL speed is shown what it's supposed to be and I don't see
this with other boards I frequent.

I have noticed there a lot more javascript and an increase "web 2.0" type interaction (javascript calls to the server) with the server than the previous version. It is a combination of factors but older/slower PCs will seem more sluggish with this version, as will those with slower connections.

OK, I was just worried that it was me....I've found it to be this way both at home and work...

I dunno. It loads pretty fast for me.

Works fine for me on Safari and I'm on dial-up for gods sake...

Javascript is killing my system. I had to disable it to browse this site.
