New to Hunting

Anyone know a good spot to go for Black Bear? I live in Leominster and am also looking for a good tip for scoping out Deer hunting in November. Thanks!

i think there are quite a few out in the mount wachusset area i dont know if there are any wma out there but my dads freind has seen bears in his neighborhood a few times.

hopefully ill get to give it a try this year too i still have no idea how to hunt them though it seems bait and dogs are prohibited in massachussets so i guess its just wander out and hope to see one.

That is what I was thinking as well. I know there is a couple of WMA around Leominster and Winchenton.

This time of year focus on patches of big woods that abut standing corn. Try Google maps to find something that fits the bill

You are far better going west of the CT river. Although there are bears east of it their numbers are not that great.

What about the WMA. Think it is worth going in there to look?
