New Shooting Bench

So my dilapidated measly shooting bench is going to be replaced with a pair of new heavy duty benches. I found the basic design on line and tweaked it a little to suite my requirements.

Here are some pictures:

Testing the height to make sure what i drew in CAD will actually work. I ended up with a 35.5" final height once decked.

I will be coating the tops and about a foot of the legs with some truck bed coating to protect the pressure treated even more while they sit out side.

I got a nice big tractor to move it to the firing line of my range. No worries there.

Looks almost exactly like the benches we use at Sippican except we have outdoor carpeting on ours.

Finished up the second one today and did some work to my range. I plan on widening the 200yrd portion another 10 feet when the ground freezes.

I usually build things half-assed to work for the short term. I wanted to build these so they will last.
