if you decide that you want another AR-15, go for a direct gas impingement rifle- that way you have a piston and a dgi rifle to compare.

it's a good start to do some footwork if you want to buy a quality rifle, or assemble one. I highly recommend the latter, but that's coming from a guy that enjoys building rifles as much a shooting them. That and you can make anything from a marksman's rifle to a service rifle replica. There are many flavors of the rainbow to the AR, and interestingly enough, you started with one of the more unique ones (gas piston instead of DGI). It's good to see that it's running properly.
