It has been successful. I took this 9 point Mulie on Monday. I took a 30 yard shot at it and hit just a bit high. He ran for about 200 yards. It was just turning daylight and when I drew my bow I couldnt see him in hte sights. I had to put my sights on him then turn the peep into place.
My nephew shot this doe on opening day.
My brother got this 8 point Mule deer Tuesday.
He also had an elk tag. We were trying to get ahead of a herd we had just seen and cut across this 6X5 bull. He shot it at 30 yards. It didn't bleed much and tracking it was difficult, but fun. We found it about 200 yards away.
All in all we had a successful year and got out of the woods before all the Labor day campers invaded our hunting area.
