Here is my first build! ntomsw Code Red lower and LPK GB! Magpul CTR Carbine stock and MOE + grip ODS in Yarmouth (thanks Dan)! Waiting on my QD upper to get here, ICE Arms BCG from dropride GB and a few other needed items...its getting there!

I think you are correct, the pin is suppose to go in from the other side of the lower not the left side.

check headspace with go/no go gauges if you need to do so--google BCG staking or check the ICE group buy thread, i posted pictures of a properly staked carrier.
