Is that the one where they want to start interpreting hi-cap mags "legally possessed as of date..." to mean only "legally possessed IN MASS as of date..."?

NOT necessarily. That case law that Comm2A cited INCLUDES any "large cap guns", so all ARs, many handguns, etc. are now illegal to bring into MA when you move in! [You must wait until you get your LTC-A to bring them in.]
