Looks to me visually and from what I've read spec-wise very close to the
Ruger 10/22 which I've heard is a real nice gun, but twice the price.

Anyone know anything about this gun?
There a reason I shouldn't get that, over a 10/22.
Just looking for something inexpensive, semi-auto, and fun to plink and work on
my aim with that won't break the bank, especially ammo-wise.
 
Hate to revive an old thread - but it's better than starting a new one.

Ok, so I've had my eye on this rifle for at least two months. I was walking around Dicks Sporting Goods doing the normal weekend stuff, when I noticed a good looking, black rifle w / scope in .22LR for $129.

I've been back and fourth a few times, in and out of Four Seasons, A & G Guns, BassPro and Dicks gazing at rifles.

Well, I broke down and got it. It's a good shooter... I fed it 250 rounds of Remmington Thunderbolts yesterday and 200 Rounds of CCI Standard Velocity today. I only had 3 or 4 rounds in the "dud" pile at the end of each session.... bad thing is that I didn't even clean it until tonight. [wink]

She's clean, ready for more rounds throughout the next two weeks..... great way to shoot up during vacation w/o spending the $$$ on 9mm / .45 auto!

I am new to Rifles, this is my first one and I'm happy with it for what I'm doing. Taking the son shooting.... any pointers on upgrades or future purchases is more than welcome....

Lastly: this rifle is great purchase... the title fits 100%... "plink" or "target"
