Needless to say Bill Ruger Sr. is -dead- and S&W is under new ownership. But there are still these old coot types that refuse to buy either brand because they're still carrying around grudges from back then.

You know, boycott when someone does something stupid or flat out betrays the community, but for cripe's sake when a company comes under new ownership or management that is 110% pro 2a, let it go.

Side issue, if Bill Ruger were still alive, would he be having fits about the company's AR platforms? Probably. And as far as S&W goes, they have great stuff, and I look forward to adding some of their products to my collection, but I just wish they'd rebrand Military & Police to Militia & Patriot.
