Well ,they won't renew my FT license because they can't renew my biz cert because I'm the only one in Acton who has returned each town census for 50 years with a note telling them to stick it up their ass. They said that they want $15 to close out the biz cert. I told them that I won't renew it, saving $35 and won't cancel it, saving $15 for a total savings of $50, but I would only save $25 and they could save the other $25. No answer. Jack.

They said I couldn’t vote if I didn’t pay the late fee for the ball-less dog tag because TH was closed due to Covid and their over reaction.

Problem solved when I moved.
 
Well, I had gotten the OK on the FT thing from my att'y, Sylvester Foodchuck, who is currently practicing from a padded suite at the Mass Home for the Bewildered. On another note, Sylvester informs that his associate, Ms Lois Lipshitz, just passed away while performing her own frontal lobotomy. For many years Lois assisted him in cases involving extreme beurocratic (spelling?) idiocy and he wants to know if anyone at the town hall might be interested i taking her place. Jack.

Some people make their lives difficult and create stress for no reason. This is a perfect example of a non-issue, yet you turned it into such a big deal you had to resort to asking the internet how to print a form.

I am pretty sure one of the PD never received my last one 5 years ago, or at least USPS never return the green paper as proof of delivery.

I am still able to buy guns and my address is updated in the MA system.

We will see what happens when I renew in 2023. I am pretty sure nothing will happen.

I get that all the time when I don't do the census. Comes time to vote I download the form in Spanish, send it in, and I'm registered. Jack.

Exactly. Why the fu..k can't the police, licensing office or whatever that we pay for with our taxes just hand you a frigging form if you need one. WTF? Not everyone has a printer. We are supposed to be ordering our public officials around not them ordering us around.

get three of these from the post office,
cross out the crap that doesn't apply,
and scratch in the extra stuff that's necessary.

I called the police station in the city that I was moving to (Gloucester) and obtained the name of the licensing authority. I wrote him a nice letter which included the date of the move and a photocopy of my FID card. The letter was sent certified, receipt requested. A copy of the letter went to the Lawrence PD LO, again certified, return receipt requested. I kept a copy of the letter and receipts in my records as proof of notification. Easy to do and fully satisfies the requirements of MA law.
