... (Gloucester) ... the licensing authority. I wrote him a nice letter which included the date of the move and a photocopy of my FID card. The letter was sent certified, receipt requested. A copy of the letter went to the Lawrence PD LO, again certified, return receipt requested. ... Easy to do and fully satisfies the requirements of MA law.
What about notifying the executive director of the criminal history systems board?

@TOM1960's goin' ta jail.
[shocked]

I called the police station in the city that I was moving to (Gloucester) and obtained the name of the licensing authority. I wrote him a nice letter which included the date of the move and a photocopy of my FID card. The letter was sent certified, receipt requested. A copy of the letter went to the Lawrence PD LO, again certified, return receipt requested. I kept a copy of the letter and receipts in my records as proof of notification. Easy to do and fully satisfies the requirements of MA law.
Here is the MGL language for moving

"A cardholder shall notify, in writing, the licensing authority that issued such card, the chief of police into whose jurisdiction such cardholder moves and the executive director of the criminal history systems board of any change of address. Such notification shall be made by certified mail within 30 days of its occurrence. Failure to so notify shall be cause for revocation or suspension of such card."

You missed the executive director of the criminal history systems board

LMAO.

Why dude?

What are you afraid of? ... you are looking for a State provided document to fill out. Nothing illegal, you won't get a visit from SWAT.

You are acting like you will be searching child porn or something.

Some people make their lives difficult and create stress for no reason. This is a perfect example of a non-issue, yet you turned it into such a big deal you had to resort to asking the internet how to print a form.
Just wait until he finds out that USPS scans all the mail they process ... [tinfoil]
Guessing he'll be posting here to see if anyone has a carrier pigeon he can borrow.

He might just drive to every PD and the CHSB.
