LTC waits for over a year in Ma?

Well, my brother in law called and they told him he'll have it in hand in 2 weeks. WTF, nearly a year? He probably lit a fire under thier ass by calling. Crooked ass state can kiss my ass when i make the move. Need any good CNC machinist in NH? And a never vote D guy?

Check with Sig Sauer's mfg plants. Perhaps you could get a job there and breathe the free air of NH?

Next they're gonna tell the subs sailing out of New London
that their sonars can emit one ping only (to save the whales).
Actually the Sub Base is in Groton, not New London. When I worked at GD/EB, I had a Lower Base pass for access and parking there.

The mayor of New London mandated that no nuclear sub travel up the Thames River under nuclear power, so they always ran under diesel power with tug-boats guiding them. Ridiculous and this was in the early 1970s.

Had my first renewal in my town last year during Covid, spoke with the licensing officer about 3 months out and he said wait and submit it 4 weeks out, I did and he called me within a week or too too come pick it up, the only issue I had was when I was picking up he let me know that they were not accepting new applications at the time because the chief said no one was allowed to finger print during Covid? I told the LO that was bulls** which he agreed with..

Frustrating that we have to go through any licensing process in the first place and then for towns to not even try and comply with the law in some cases is just another reason this state sucks..

Actually we can refer to it as New London.

License is valid until

Good for you. But it can backfire on you. 1 mile over the limit is speeding according to the letter of the law. One day that cop you reamed might remember that
So Cucking out is the answer? 40 Days is the law and you accept more because your worried about repercussions?

And there is no "reaming", my rep simply sends as letter or email asking what is taking beyond the legal time limit.

Which generally greases the wheels and gets things moving a little faster....half the time its that these things just sit and people dont do their job keeping them moving is
the problem.

If your CLEO is hellbent on repercussions from a simple question on why he's late on processing a document within a lawful timeframe......well, I think you should move because he/she is not fit for the job and a danger to public safety.

Most of my friends in Jr High and High School were in the Groton/ New London area. Lots of Submariner's kids led to 4 year friendships. My dad worked at EB for a long time

Yes, that area was interesting. You either worked for GD/EB, Navy, or Pfizer Drug . . . there wasn't anything else in the area.

Pretty much. There was Foxwoods Resort Casino too and later Mohegan Sun, but those are generally less skilled jobs. Still not a lot in that side of CT.
