Nice MrTwigg. Surplusrifle.com has a section on modifying the CZ52 including the extended release. Something I'd consider doing to one if I grabbed another.

Someone mentioned (I think in one of the Marlboro show threads) about ammo availablilty for the CZ52. I've seen it popping up at more and more gun shops, especially since the Wolf Gold is out.
I got some brand new original Czech grips for mine at the show for $5.

What ammo is best for the 52?

Like my SKS, I think i'd like to have a boatload of ammo for it BEFORE it arrives on my doorstep.

I don't care for the surplus stuff. It shoots like surplus 303, click.. bang on some rounds and broken casings on other.
I like Wolf Gold the best for mine.
