My first P-Series Finn Mosin Nagant.
At serial number 10,595, it falls roughly into the middle of the 1,000 overlapping serial number sequence between the P-26 and the P-27. For reference, see the following link offered by pullnshoot25:

The P-Series' main distinction from the Finn M91 would be its relined barrel, a process developed in Salerno, Italy. Hence, the S-stamp found on most P-series barrels. Front sight blades can also vary. Otherwise, it shares largely the same features as the M91. Production was performed at Arms Depot One in Helsinki, Finland (AV1) in 1926 and 1927 (possibly began in 1925, with more units assembled in the Winter and Continuations Wars, 1939-40 and 1941-44). My front sight is the "No Base, Flat Top" style.
Crown picture shows the relined bore, not as distinct delineation in appearance as some. Then the script AV1 stamp. Some P-series have A, B, and C marked barrels and/or the Finn D stamp. Mine has only a W stamp in front of the rear sight, and a 2L on the bottom flat. Some barrels are in the white, mine is blued with the usual [SA] stamp. The top side of the barrel (as well as receiver) is very worn and pock-marked.
I needed to make a double take at the one piece Russian stock. When I checked behind the trigger guard, I thought I had picked up my US Model 1903 to view the P-proof. Another funky mark appears in front of the NEW mag tang. And the receiver tang has only a 4 stamped on top, with no marking or apparent scrubbing underneath - only more pox.
Rest of the pics. Thanks for looking, folks.
