Paul Kennedy has run Kennedy Sweeper for 30 years. That almost ended Monday morning around 8 a.m.
"A man came in I never saw before. He had a gun and said I'm robbing you," said 79-year-old Kennedy.
He opened the register for Terrance Clark, 23, to give him the nearly 60 dollars inside, and that's when Kennedy says Clark attacked him.
"He hit me right above the nose on the forehead here and knocked me to the floor and the stars were flying," said the store owner.
Kennedy says the hit left him in a daze and he could barely see.
