Anybody have any experience with Joe DeDominicis in Chelmsford? I found him through the FFL search on GunBroker, but no mention of him on NES.

Joe D is a good man.
He did fantastic work for me on a couple Winchester model 12's. Drop off your gun, and let him do his thing. He doesn't work fast, he works well. Don't call every five minutes asking if it's ready yet. Give him some room, and you won't be disappointed.
Can't say enough good things about him--an honest, competent gunsmith is hard to find these days.

Why have we never heard of him? He had about 80 sales on GB until 04/07, stopped for a number of years, then started again in June of this year. Perhaps he is retiring, and selling off his collection. He has many listings up, as of right now. We need a good smith in this area. Wish he would make himself known.

I had Joe do some work a couple of years ago. Someone on here chimed in on another thread and said that he was forced to close down, probably because he worked out of his house. His house had a separate entrance for his shop though. Nice guy. Good work. Seemed very honest and above board. I'd buy from him.
