Anyone have any idea as to whether or not the new ruger 10/22 50th anniversary edition might be available at a discount for trainers?

There is not much discount on ruger. I can find similar price at local LGS & I rather spend a few bucks more and support my LGS.

Yeah, folks on rimfirecentral are talking about receiving them.

And chinalfr, the ruger 10/22 is ~$50 cheaper than many internet stores I was able to Google on my phone or can you get it cheaper locally?

Has Mossberg released a catalog for 2014 or are the 2013 prices still good for instructors?

Just a reminder. Savage gives 40% off to instructors. I've used both and found the Savage Rascal to be far superior to the Cricket.

Most of the optics manufacturers only give Instructor discounts to Hunter Ed Instructors. They are usually substantial (45% - 50%).

Speculation only: because shortages are over, prices have plummeted, firearms manufacturers are laying off?

    2016 Instructor Discounts

    Hello all,
It has been a while since I have been here, but this is the site and the thread that prompted me to create a site that collected the discounts for all of us to use.

I recently upgraded the site quite a bit and have begun compiling the 2016 discounts. It is: http://instructors.fortreg.com
(also available at the old link http://firearms.fortreg.com).

    Hope you like it!

Experticity (formerly Promotive) handles Instructor discount programs for hundreds of manufacturers including Vortex, Bushnell, Trijicon, Gun Vault, RCBS, Vertx, Blackhawk, etc. You can use this invitation link to open an account. You will need to upload a copy of your NRA or Hunter Ed credentials in JPEG, PDF, etc. You'll be surprised at the categories of items that you'll receive a discount on. www.experticity.com/invite/robertm22

+1 for Experticity, when it was promotive I got some great deals on optics, golf clubs, gear. Whether your police, fire, military, instructor, coke employee there are hundreds of teams and each one has their own discounts. Optics was the biggest saving for me.
