I love my APL, instead of switching the same one back and forth between my G19 and G17, I found a good deal on a used one and decided to buy it. It came, I mounted it and went to holster and function check it and it wouldn't fit in the holster.
The way it locks is different than the one I have.
The one I have locks by a flathead screw, this one locks by a clip. The clip is much more convenient IMO and much much faster to put on/remove.
I did not make my holsters but both seem to favor the one that locks with the flathead rather than the clip.
Is one of these older than the other?
The clip as a minimal amount of extra girth on one side, preventing it from being easily holstered.
