Is this legal : ( asked because of travel distances involved)

FTF purchase of long-arm done without actually meeting face to face in person. Purchaser sends copies of LTC and License to Seller, and Seller does IN-STATE shipment of long-arm to Buyer.

??

Just off the top of my head, I can't point to anything right this minute which says it is illegal...but I would never do it. At least not with a stranger.

FTF means face-to-face. You meet, verify (as much as you can) that the person is who they say they are, and then do the transfer.

Just my non-lawyer, personal view.

In your state, it would be lawful.
Personally, unless I positivly knew the buyer was not a "Forbidden Person" I wouldn't touch a deal like this with a ten foot pole.

Thanks for the replies and info...makes sense.

Although the copies of the LTC ( which verifies suitability and person NOT being on prohibited list) info matching the info on the Drivers license copy, to verify Address for shipping WITHIN the same State, a FTF meet allows you to see that the picture on the license is the person acquiring possession of the firearm in person.
