There are 7+ anti-gun bill hearings on Wednesday 2/8 at the NH State House

👎 I’m land/house shopping up there

Given the current makeup of the legislative bodies, I don't see it going anywhere. It is an annual attack though and if we lose a majority somewhere, we may have issues. It is important to be involved as much as you can/want to be. Both with elections and with the legislative process.

I will not be able to be there personally, but there are numerous digital options in NH to voice your displeasure. I'll be using some of those.

I am hoping the National Orgs such as GOA/NRA pay some attention, despite the fact we have no reps here in NH. I also hope our local orgs, such as NHFC provide testimony in support of NH's citizens.

From one of my representatives (Santonastaso) after I contacted them about the 7 anti gun bills.
Bold is mine.

Hey Andrew

I believe that any gun restriction is a infringement, our right to bear
arms is true inherently and the second amendment is only to keep the
government in line.
we are surrounded by dangerous equipment in the modern world. anyone can
go on a rampage with a vehicle at any moment. the materials to build
bombs are available at walmart, ect
Gun control isnt about guns but about control

That is why I am a member of the newly formed Nullification Caucus in
the NH house. We can ignore or reject federal laws as a state.

We are specially interested in bills that nullify the illegal
restrictions on gun ownership from the federal government like 474 and 512.
Both the prime sponsors of 474 and 512 are in the Caucus and are now my
friends. We are working on other bills together.
Nullification is a American tradition, Id recommend the book
Nullification by Tom Woods if you are interested in this topic more.

You don't have to worry about me, voting the wrong way on any of these
bills.

Thanks!
Matt
