Any know what this group is all about? Got invited to join it but not sure if they're just another 2A group or a wider range of causes or what

Basically similar to the oathkeepers but they extend their platform to all of the bill of rights rather than focusing only on the 2a.

The Three Percenters (also styled "3%ers" and “III%”) is an American patriot movement[1] which pledges resistance against all enemies, foreign or domestic, regarding what it believes to be infringement of the United States Constitution.[1] The group's stated primary purpose is to protect constitutional rights[2] and has been characterized as being ideologically similar to the Oath Keepers.[

The movement was started on December 17, 2008. The movement was co-founded by Mike Vanderboegh[4] from Alabama, a member of the Oath Keepers, a group with whom the 3 Percenters remain loosely allied.[5] Vanderboegh claims to have formerly been a member of Students for a Democratic Society and the Socialist Workers Party, but abandoned left-wing politics and politics in general in 1977 after being introduced to libertarianism.[6] Beginning in November 2008, Vanderboegh began promoting the movement on his blog "Sipsey Street Irregulars." The "Three Percenters Club" website was established in 2011 by Michael Graham.

The "Nyberg Three Percent Flag," designed by Gayle Nyberg in 2008, is based on the Betsy Ross flag with the Roman numeral III inscribed in the circle of thirteen stars.

I was wondering about this myself, actually...I kinda thought it was just another one of those 'operator' clothing lines.

seems like we might align politically however, so I'm going to look into it.

Great info whacko...thanks!

I'm not aware of any of their accomplishments. They just seem like a bunch of keyboard warriors with some sort of pipe-dream of being revolutionary heroes. "Bruh, do these new NVGs make me look operator or what?"

I'm not aware of any "accomishments" of the III percenters or the oath keepers for that matter. I was just answering the question from the op.

Hmm, IMHO any honest citizen with a firearm is a 3 percenter.

I don't need to belong to any club to tell me to be nice to my fellow citizens.

I don't need a club to tell me to stand up when others won't.

I don't need a club to tell me to do what is right and be prepared to defend those rights!

Insert cheaply stolen phrase..
I am a descendant of men that would not be ruled!

Wonder where the invitation came from?[thinking]

Having personally conversed with Mike Vanderboegh on a few occasions in the past before his death, it was well established that the III% is a mindset, a movement if you will, not a membership organized "group" as one might think.

Very curious........

The last post on Mikes blog is dated September 21, 2016 shortly after his death by his son who stated he is no longer monitoring or posting on the site. So unless someone else( most likely the FBI) has picked up from there, then I'd be sorely aware of your surroundings.

From what I understand they claim to be members of the (only) 3% of citizens who will actually stand up and fight for our rights when the ball drops. Not for nothing but I'm under the impression that most of them would run out of air walking downstairs and it's just another cool sticker to put on your truck.

They are listed on several .gov websites as potential hate groups (from what I've heard-no cites), and frankly I'd rather not place the pin on any of those GPS's for them to strike first.

No cool guy stickers, no anti gov groups, no threats to burn the city down, better off just keeping your head down and your ear to the ground while not attracting the wrong kind of attention to yourself.

Just quietly be ready to act to defend yourself if it's ever needed, those are the types they really fear, not the ones outing themselves by joining all kinds of patriot websites and chest thumping.

I figure at least half of the 3%'ers and oathkeepers are on a FBI payroll.

They're a "militia group", who occasionally mobilize to provide a public 'armed-presence' during controversial free-speech exercises:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/aug/11/oath-keepers-ferguson-automatic-rifles

Oath-Keepers are militia of former Military and LEOs, whereas III% has no such credentials - both appear to have similar values.

Quotes from both links previously posted here:

"These armed quasi-military groups have strong anti-government views and position themselves as protectors of the US constitution."

"The group is described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a “fiercely anti-government, militaristic group”.

^^^^^^^^^^^The ever recurring false narrative^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Neither group, III% or Oath Keepers are anti government, but the SPLC continues to puke their propaganda and the sheeple, amateur and professional media just keep on parroting it.

Southern poverty law foundation are the communists. So anti-.government is bad? Weren’t they organizing anti-government rallies in the 60’s? F THEM

Citation? I don’t know if Eric Parker (pictured) is a III%er or an Oathkeeper but there were clearly people who weren’t standing down.

Concur, but bear in mind who the folks in that photo are pointing their rifles at - FBI agents. FBI agents don't take-kindly to 'civilians' pointing rifle muzzles at them, and will find any legal trick necessary to make-sure such behavior isn't encouraged by any 'militia member' in the future.
