Hunters - Club Game Dinners

Is there a listing of game dinners that are held at the sportsman's clubs that you folks belong to where tickets can be purchased by the public?

I would be very interested to attend such events.

My Club does it (Country Pond Fish and Game), but it's for members and family only. But it's also free. Still time to join, if there are any openings left, I think it's in February or March. First time ever trying Moose Chili. It was pretty good.

Marlboro fish and game has a game dinner February 22nd at 6 0r 7 o'clock. Great food and raffle.

Townsend Rod and Gun on March 15.
Shirley Rod and Gun on March 29.
I don't believe either is limited to members.

Last year both had lots of venison and bear
Shirley also had smoked turkey, trout and duck
Townsend also had beaver kabobs.
I think what's served at most game dinners depends on what types of game folks had available to donate.

Swift River Sportsman's Club offers one which is always a sell out. I'll post the particulars shortly.

I've been to Pelham's dinners a couple of times. Big turnout, so big that I doubt some the "game" is really hunted. Trays and trays of rabbit etc. A good time though.
