Today I went to take a look at getting a new avatar pic and in doing so realized I have a ton of milsurps, all from this year to.

Pic from when I first joined the forum.

Not to mention the 2 91/30s on there way from the group buy, and the finn m39 I am gonna ask my FFl to order then theres the m1 carbine at the top of the list, and the mosin m38 carbine................... you get the idea.

They breed when you're not around.

I've just started so I'm only up to 4 once the group buy arrives. Should be 16 or so this time next year, given 6 month gestation period for them to double in number.

Wow! That picture brings back some memories! Here's a picture of my collection back when I was just a C&R newbie.....

I'd set them all up now for a group shot, but it would take all day. So now I do it in groups.

Keep collecting, young collector!

I love the stock on your carbine. I've thought of getting the magazine pouch to put on the stock. Must resist urge to buy M1 Garand....must resist urge to get M1 Garand.....

I envy you folks who can line up your rifles along the side of your house. If I tried that here in the crowded MA suburbs, the neighbors would see them and then the police would be arriving before I was done bringing the second rifle out.

[crying]

Because like a crack dealer outside the local school, I sometimes corrupt youngsters... but with the goodness of surplus firearms.[wink]

Try collecting Inert heavy ordnance... My neighbors have had some odd faces on them..[rolleyes]

That is pretty impressive - your making me jealous!

You need to go get some more milsurps then, its the only known cure for being jealous [rofl].

Man, nice spread m44. If I had started collecting like that when I was your age, I'd be up to my chin in hardware!! [rockon]

I know what you mean, If I wasn't a milsurp collector I could probably buy a few evil black rifles but they aren't as nice as milsurps.

Nice collection...is that an RIC in the middle? AWESOME!!

Thanks for the kind words, no that is not a RIC enfield it is a Santa Fe jungle carbine.

just wait the addiction gets worth the more you get.

I think this will be my last group shot, it takes me way to long to bring them outside.

Thats some nice collection you got there [wink].

Where I live there are no houses for about a hundred yards on all directions, and my closest neighbor (about a hundred twenty yards down the road) is my grandparents.

[rofl][rofl] I was laughing pretty hard on that one.

At 42, I have my first Milsurp, (M-44) and my second on the way, (91/30). I do have a sporterized Mauser, but I never considered it a true Milsurp - only a cache gun. I got the fever too late to really get in on some of the deals I walked past in my youth, but I suppose you have to start somewhere and M-44, that is a beautiful collection you have going...[cheers]

Wait. Aren't you like something teen old? How the hell are you affording all of these firearms. You cooking meth in the basement, something in porn, etc'. [wink] Come on, you have to let us poorer older folks know how you do it!!! I wish I could buy all those firearms in one year.

Thanks for the kind words I love milsurp guns, probably always will.

Yep Im 13 gonna be 14 friday, I almost asked Derek to put 13 yer old kid under my name instead of NES member but I didnt want to bother him and it would be a lot of work to update it every year.

As for how I earn my money I cant use any of those ideas you had because I live in the woods and Im home schooled. I earn my money because my mom owns a goat farm so she pays me for milking the goats. I also have no bills to pay and nothing to spend my money on but guns [smile]. I am hoping to pick up another gun this week or next week with my birthday money [grin].

Wow - that's a great collection! I can only imagine what it will look like when you're old enough to get your C&R [smile]

Seriously, you're doing yourself a favor by buying them now, while the surplus market is still halfway decent and you have the disposable income. Just make sure that you set aside some cash for ammo... gotta keep them all fed! [grin]

Well, that explains a lot. Bully for you! [grin]

It is great being home schooled [smile].

I have plenty of ammo to feed these baby's, as far as when I get my C&R I cant wait.

Concerning the title of your thread:

how the hell did this happen

Watch your language, kid ! [wink]

Sorry didnt mean to offend anybody.

I don't think you offended anyone. I was just trying to be funny as when I was 13, if I had used the word "Hell", I'd have gotten a slap down and a bar of soap in my mouth !

I know what you mean to tell you the truth neither one of my parents swear but my brother is a mechanic and he picked it up from work and I picked it up from him.
