I was wondering what a used Mossberg 500 with a 28 inch barrel is worth nowadays? I'd like to know what a fair price is, assuming its in decent quality.

My wife got me one last year for 250 with a smooth bore slug barrel and a 28 inch ribbed barrel from a lgs.

Mavericks are not made my mossberg parts are sourced out of country and assembled in Texas. They only share a few common parts.

They can use most of the same aftermarket accessories though right? Are they absolute crap compared to the mossbergs? I've been tempted by the mavericks and ATIs myself because they are soooo cheap.
