Hologhraphics and hunting

I am looking for a scope/sight with fast aquisition for deer hunting on a Marlin 336 35 Remington. I have been told to check out the Eotech / Bushnell holographic sights and was looking for input from anyone who has used them for hunting. How are they at 100 -150 yards, accuracy, problems etc.Any input is appreciated.

You might consider a nice big rear peep sight with a fiber optic front.
No batteries to go dead and nothing to clutter up the lines of the gun.
