I received this email from the Second Amendment Foundation asking to use their online store to shop for items through Amazon.com. The Second Amendment Foundation gets a portion of the money you spend sent back to them to help fund their aggessive pro second amendment activities.
Just in case you aren't familiar with the SAF they have been the leaders filing lawsuits such as Heller. They've been very successful and they've been mowing down bad gun laws coast to coast. They have the sharp teeth and are aggressive and fearless in their approach. They usually have the NRA working in conjunction with them.
Using the SAF online store to shop gets billed through Amazon.com as explained in the letter but you must access it through the SAF online store (http://www.safstore.org) for them to get their money from Amazon. It doesn't cost extra to do this so it seems like a decent concept. Here is the letter that explains everything:
