Is the pending H4607 reason to get a gun trust for a non-NFA "assault-style firearm?"
My understanding of H4607 is that it prevents anyone from taking new ownership of these newly classified “assault-style firearms." Is that true? Or will in-state transfers remain legal?
If my children are under 21 and cannot accept ownership before August 1, 2024, then it seems the only opportunity is through inheritance (when I die).
Could a gun trust provide shared ownership, or can (will) the MA registration process require an individual, vs a trust?
