As alluded to here: http://www.northeastshooters.com/vb...New-Bill?p=4866838&highlight=1635#post4866838

http://www.boston.com/news/2016/02/02/gun-thieves-could-get-years-jail-under-proposed-law/FuLVlCv9zNwh3JQGz0vYtL/story.html

Two New Hampshire lawmakers have proposed a bill that would give more jail time to those caught stealing a firearm. The proposed change could lead to 20-year prison sentences, according to one of the bill’s sponsors.
If passed, HB 1635 would make stealing a firearm during a burglary a class A felony, which would allow for stiffer sentencing.
The legislation is sponsored by Republican Al Baldasaro of Londonderry and Democrat Katherine Rogers of Concord, two politicians with contrasting records on gun access and gun violence. Baldasaro has been a vocal supporter of gun rights, speaking to Gun Rights Across America New Hampshire in 2014, according to that organization’s Facebook page. This year, Rep. Rogers has also introduced a bill that would require gun buyers and sellers to purchase qualified liability insurance.

This "bi-partisan" sponsorship is the only reason Katherine Rogers wasn't able slip any hoplophobia into HB 1635-FN, though she did manage to sneak in some politically correct wording:
HB 1635 said:
Matter added to current law appears in bold italics.
Amend RSA 635:1, III to read as follows:
II. Burglary is a class B felony unless it is perpetrated in the dwelling of another at night, or if, in the commission of the offense, attempt at commission or in flight immediately after attempt or commission, the actor is armed with a deadly weapon or explosives or he or she purposely, knowingly or recklessly inflicts bodily injury on anyone or the property stolen is a firearm; in which case it is a class A felony; except that if the person is armed with a deadly weapon and the deadly weapon is a firearm or the property stolen is a firearm, he or she shall be sentenced in accordance with RSA 651:2, II-g

I also like how @Al_Baldasaro uses his Twitter to talk about what he is doing for NH, while @KatBeep primarily uses social media to stump for Hillary. Very telling.
