Have you ever?

I don't know if this has been asked on NES before or in a while I know I haven't seen a thread mentioning it. My question is aside from police officers, or anybody who is required to carry a firearm for work, Has anybody ever shot anybody? I'm not asking this for some gory story fetish, but more as to know from the shooter if it was something they regretted, how family and friends reacted to the news, what happened with the police and your license? Things like that. I understand this is most likely a very personal question to ask but i figure if ever a place for people to talk about this it would be here.
