Hello everyone! Just wanted to drop this recommendation/suggestion that those looking for grip adaptors or a better grip in general on their revolver look in to BK Grips.
I spent forever trying to find a solution to the high grip a round butt K-Frame usually requires but wanted to keep the original grips on the gun and the tyler t-grips seemed like they get mixed reviews, take forever to get them, and the older ones go for over 100 bucks, so I was hesitant to “pull the trigger” on the mail order of one of the new ones.
BK Grips create a revolver grip adaptor (think like Tyler T-Grips or the older Pachmayer adaptors) at a fair price. They are polymer but sturdy and look great. They have two attachment points rather than one to secure them. He makes them to fit many models and frame sizes etc. I put the K-Frame one on my S&W model 12 airweight and it fits well despite the fact that the frame is a little smaller than other k-frames.
You can order online quickly, shipping was fast (ordered Wednesday evening and it was in the mail the next morning and delivered that Saturday) and Kip was very responsive and helpful when I had install questions.
Posting this mainly because it took me forever to hear about them in an online revolver forum and all I could find before were the t-grips with mixed reviews and long wait times, so figured I could plug BK Grips here to save others the trouble in the future.
