Glock Refurbishment Procedure

Hi everyone,

I recently picked up a Glock 19 (2nd gen) with two of the 1st gen 15rd magazine for it from a buddy. What is the procedure to sending the pistol and mags back to get them refurbished by the factory?

Anything I need to watch out for when doing so?

One BIG thing. Don't send them the hi-cap pre-ban mags. You'll never see them again.

I never send magazines with any handgun sent back for service. It isn't needed for repair or testing and it is just something that can be lost. At best they will return it with a magazine.

you need to ask them to re finnish the slide, it is not standard procedure IIRC.
