In addition to the warehouse and retired LEO issues, the GCAB also voted to approve the Infinity IMM Open and Infinity Sightracker as the first guns to be added to the target list. This means that they should be on the list when the state gets around to publishing it.

What remains to be seen

  • How many other companies apply to have "target guns" added ot the list
  • How dealers wil react to the list. While the list does not bypass the AGs regulations, the AGs regs contain an exemption for guns designed and sold solely for formal target shooting competition - and inclusion on the list indicates a stage finding the guns are indeed designed and sold solely for this purpose.

You'll have to special order it, but this means that you should be able to order a complete IMM Open just like the ones that keep showing up on the series Heroes.

Rob,

It wasn't the EOPS Hearing . . . that was the earlier meeting run by EOPS Asst Gen'l Counsel.

It was the GCAB Meeting after the EOPS Hearing.

THREE other companies have been contacted (by a member of GCAB) or have contacted GCAB wrt the Target Gun Law.

Those were announced at the meeting to be:

- Browning,
- Colt,
- High Standard.

No saying that any one of them will follow-up or even be interested in doing so, but that is the latest public info available as of Friday.

Thanks for the clarification. I hope those other companies follow up with applications now that it is clear that is it possible to get approval.
