GA - Wounded Security Guard, Co-Worker Kill Nightclub Patron

Security guards at a Carrollton nightclub killed a 26-year-old man early Sunday after he shot one of them while aiming for someone else, authorities said.

The guards shot Octavis Mabry of Carrollton at least twice in the chest after he wounded Kevin Ridley, 23, of Decatur outside L.C.'s Lounge, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office said.

Mabry was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Ridley, struck in the arm, was treated and released.

Huh. My father and brother live in Carrollton. My brother is an erstwhile bass player and has played some clubs in town. Not sure that's of of them.
