So i bought tickets back in june for my wife and i to see Trace Adkins on oct 17. We had been looking forward to seeing him live. We go to breakfast this morning then we get to Indian ranch in plenty of time for the concert. Only to find out he canceled his concert 3 weeks ago. Needless to say I was pissed. But I figured it must’ve been a good reason for the cancellation. Come to find out he is on a tv show starting in January. So he canceled his concert in October. Dickhead! A deal is a deal. He gave his word he would preform and a better offer comes along and he backs out? I’m getting my money back on these tickets and I will not pay to see him again.

Yes.... If the performer actually mentioned it on social media 3 weeks ago then I would be apt to blame the money-grubbing faggots/rapists who run these concerts. That whole industry is basically like scum of the earth stuff behind telemarketing or scammers. I honestly wish that the musicians would gang up and break the system.

This. They make the porn industry look legit and upstanding.
 
The only major show that place has up now is another Trace Adkins show in June 2022.
The venue has around 100k of tickets with its capacity
If the artist gets 75%/75k of the take they have 25k left over.
How is Indian Ranch even in business ?

This. If you are playing there,, the end is near. There is nothing wrong with nostalgia acts. But the economy of scale is much smaller for a place like Native American Ranch. I'd be surprised if an act like Adkins price is more than $20k.

For the record I have been there to see CDB. It was a fun little place. And luckily, I checked before the show and he didn't cancel.

This rant is actually better than the OP's rant.. Has this ever happened before in the same thread ?

I think this is unprecedented.
