Free state magazine question

Being from Ma. I'm not sure if free staters can have something like a 12 round sig 229 .40 S&W magazine if it is stamped saying " LAW ENFORCEMENT/GOV. USE ONLY. Can someone please answer this for me?

Yup. Those markings only had meaning when the Fed AWB was in effect, or for states where AWB are still in effect.

Yes, for all the free, non commie states that problem went away in Sep. 2004 when the AWB sunsetted. LE marks don't count anymore in those states. BTW for future reference this belongs in gun laws not GD. I'm closing this because this is an easy one; there's not much more to say about it.
