First Model M1906 Colt Police Positive

I sold my Colt Police Positive in .38S/W to a forum member (thanks Mattmatt), to up the caliber a little bit. I originally wanted .38 special, not knowing .38 was different.

This Colt has a great bore, original grips, and a blue/gray patina at about 60%. I took a chance as the pics on line showed no finish as I knew patina pieces do not photograph well. SN dates this piece to 1917, first series.

I really like your PP and once again Majspud.. we have similar tastes. Here is my only Police Positive Special.. but not as old as yours. Mine only dates from the 1952.

Range report. 42 degrees, windy, and clear at 25 meters. Heavy recoil on a small frame. Shot high until I corrected.

Turns out to be a 1914.
