my buddy got some mechanics type gloves that were fleece lined from home depot last year...not sure if they still have them but it's worth a shot
Any suggestions are appreciated. I'll be outside for hours at a stretch, and my hands will be like clubs without decent gloves. Waterproof or something like it would also be good. Thanks in advance.
Shooting with gloves that are good enough to insulate for long periods of time sucks. You might want to find some mittens or those glove mitten things where the top comes off and exposes your fingertips at least. Shooting without finger feel on the trigger sucks.

I have an old pair of gloves like these that LL bean sold in black they are surprisingly warm and very this so there is a decent amount of finger feel. Windstopper is a great product
I think I have the same LL Bean pair. Have been looking for new ones ever since. If they are the same, you are right that they are way warmer than their thiness would lead you to believe.
Has anyone tried Sealskinz?
