+1. your local club should have a place to dispose of these. both of mine doI think nearly all ranges have a 'dud' can, hit up your local range and dump them there?
They sit around look at you mean and want you to do everything for them....Yup, Democrats.Proves my point: Cats are inherently Anti-2A.

pull bullets dump powder and then with a nice solid backer....anvil or sheet of lead place the case on the backer and hit with a 22oz estwing.....adult snap caps!I personally haven't had a lot of luck with this method. In my experience, primers are much harder to kill than you think.
If someone has a proven method (which means you've actually tested to confirm they are dead) I'd love to hear it.
placing a cruddy case in your chamber... not much "risk" but almost like wiping your ass with dirty TP?What possible risk do you see in firing a primed case with no power or bullet?

I did recommend wiping after taking care of your business.placing a cruddy case in your chamber... not much "risk" but almost like wiping your ass with dirty TP?

Well, the way I plan on doing it does not lower me to the level of the a@@hats you reference in your post.
YMMV.
I've punched out a ton of live primers over the years, never had one go off. Just got take it nice and easy on the handle.Hasn't the method of using oil to deactivate primers been proven to be very hit or miss?
I remember some testing that once the primers had dried out most of them worked again.
Still trying to get my head past "sitting for few years".
