LOL - I think if you look closely there are actually 8 in there. But that is the general rule of thumb. However many guns they say it will hold, divide by two.

So here is the deal. It is a price point product. It can probably be opened very quickly by a determined thief with very few tools. However, it will meet the stupid Mass requirements, and keep your young kids out. It is not the best safe, but waay better than nothing
