Dallas Shooting Thread

When you become a nation of men and not laws, this is the inevitable outcome.

The LEOs who are prone to act poorly to criminally know they won't get busted. The good LEOs know this too which is why they won't step up. The BLM/SJW folks know they might have to go to court and perhaps pay a small fine but that's it. The politicians know that as long as this continues they can spin it to their advantage (no matter what side they claim to be on). Us normal folks that just want to live our lives, do the best we can for our families and friends get stuck in the middle.

We have the BLM that would see is dead. We have the LEOs that must go home safe so if that means a tazing or worse over a $50 traffic ticket so be it. The politicians will tell us whatever we want to hear (see John Kerry's letters to a constituent on both sides of the issue) all the while picking our pockets. Then we get to the point we are at now that when BLM/LEOs/Politicians get killed; we don't really care. It's always sad when someone dies, but going from sad to caring is a chasm many no longer jump.

Then when us normal folks get caught in the system, a system that is there to punish and control first and serve somewhere down the list - we just might snap and take a few of our tornenters with us.

Just my thinking and I better put it out there before not 'watching what we say' gets us arrested (see Dallas Mayor)

I read all the pages. I think we all agree this was a disgrace. But we should not fall into the trap the main stream media and democrates want us to faw into. True there are bad cops, but the media over report it to make it a bigger issue to divide us and maintain their power. The main stream media and democrates control language and manipulate us.

We all are not happy where we are as a country because we believe there is two americas, that laws are not enforced justly and stories are reported to fit a narative. The country is going to be lost, our second ammendment are going to be lost. I am 48 years old and the country has definetly travled down the wrong path. The problems can not be fixed overnight.

But we have to focus on why there is so much division, The economy sucks, certain people get away with breaking laws, Clinton and Illegal imigrations, we have to control the narative and not blame guns, and bad cops, but blame it on liberal America and the policies that got us where we are today. The media and democrates Control the narative, selective enforcing laws, selective reporting on gun crimes, ( illegal that was deported five times and shots a bunch of people not a story, concealed carry person stops mass shotting at night club not a story, gun crimes in every america city Gheto because of broken families, caused of increased because of .gov. not a story. This recent story they are already starting to spin and as a Vetern it is disgusting. This recent shooting there is a picture on druge with his black power fist raised, what is shown is his picture in US Army uniform. How is it reported Member of the Army reserve, not reported as member or supporter of the various hate groups on his face book page or the MOSQUE. The liberals took the country down this path in baby steps, we need to take it back in baby steps. Step one stopping CLinton, We have to learn from liberals, control the narative, constantly focus on the big picture don;t get distracted. We have a long long long way to go. They are always saying the rights Retoric is causing this violence lets turn the tables and start controling the narative

E3 is low. I got E3 right out of boot camp because I was JROTC in high school. Otherwise it was 12 or 18 months time in service. Like I said before, unless you get busted or they have changed things a lot since I was in, you should be at least E4 noncom after 6 years.

In any case, anyone familiar with that MOS? When I was in, the carpentry guys (R&U) were always dudes with standard MOSs who had gotten broken, and who were serving out their enlistment on a profile.

I gotta say, you have to give the Dallas police a sliver of sympathy credit for finding the guy within the same night. Compare that to those useless "heroes" in Watertown who needed 2 days and the national ****in guard to catch that teenage criminal punk.

Still, why were they "negotiating" with a lunatic who has no hostages and hasn't stopped shooting? Frag his ass the first chance you get so we can move on. Soft on criminals but hard on law abiding gun owners, makes sense....

Oh, I know. I was an E3 after maybe 8 months, but that was the Guard. I thought the Reserve might be slower, but still... Six years?

The Guardian had a quote from the killer's HS friends, and the article mentioned ROTC... I assume Junior.

The USMC is slower to promote as E4 is an NCO rank for us. And even in the infantry with higher cutting scores very few people didnt make it in 6 years. That said, it happened for 1 or 2 reasons. Either you were a shitbag, or you got in trouble at some point and were busted down. Often the guys in the ladder group werent shitbags, but just young and made some dumb mistake. Much easier to do on a period of activation than in the straight reserves. I had a couple friends fall victim to thr ladder when we were mobilizing. One still made it out as an E4, the other lost 2 ranks but stuck it out and is now a sergeant (e5).

Talking to army buddies, you need to suck to not make E4.

It's been clear for sometime that massive disruptions by BLM, BAMN, ANTIFA, and many others have been in the works for the conventions. I don't really know about the collusion with Lynch.. I hope to god it's not true. The idea that Martial law could be put in place because of some protesters at the convention in one city, and that it has the ability to have a truly long lasting effect, seems far-fetched. These violent leftists shouldn't be ignored; I've done some research on many of these groups and are totally fine with bringing violence to otherwise peaceful assemblies. I just don't think they have the ability to affect the system on the scale they'd hope to.

One wild card is the policies that the police departments and the inter-agency groups have in place for the convention. Also I heard some talk of potential failures in the acquisition of gear for riot police.

Personally, I think the more disruptive those dirtbags get, the better the odds get for Trump. Even back when they were just blocking traffic, they werent gaining any new supporters to their side and they were pissing off the uninformed sheep who otherwise would of just ate up what the media was feeding them. The worse it gets, the less likely Hillary makes it to the WH, imo.

By killing cops they may get the cops to back off which would allow violence at the convention. If all this is true then Americans should be alert to what is comming.

FOX NEWS was giving air today to one blue haired community leader. It was surreal. Like Andy Warhol painting talking about peace & harmony while the entire country knows they scream nasty insults.

One of my reactions last night to Dallas was "Holy sh!t, if these people think that cops were trigger happy before, what are they going to be like after this mess?"

The NATO meeting in Poland is in the middle of the football stadium completely surrounded by all kind of forces. Based on what we saw today both parties should use Go To Meeting instead.
