Coyote contest at Jaffrey store leads to debate on hunting ethics

So hunting Coyotes increases the population? News to me.

Many have espoused this theory, in which published conclusions often use terms like "may." The theory seems overly simplistic, with regard to hunting pressure's influence on natality.

Want more coyotes? Prohibit trapping. And provide them with pockets of isolation, and travel corridors. Seems to be working.

Just saw a good sized coyote on my road today, had to be 50lbs or so, daytime, right near the road, paved portion. Last year didn't hear much coyote but have heard a few in the past few months. I think I should start hunting them, I have a hunting license and many rifles that would fit the bill.

Can I still enter Pelletier's contest??

These people are complete ****ing idiots. Don't they understand Evolution and the Food Chain?

They're nuisance animals, fun to hunt in the winter in between Deer and Turkey season
