Suspended trooper charged with DUI in Manchester

http://www.boston.com/news/local/co...h_dui_in_manchester/?rss_id=Boston.com+/+News

"Baron's police powers were suspended after he was involved in seven alcohol-related incidents, including four of drunken driving, three of them in a police cruiser, according to a report issued by the New York State Police and the Connecticut Attorney General's office."

Oh boy.

One DWI CONVICTION in a police vehicle would do it in my department. In fact one DWI not related to the job was the end of a career for one officer.
The only reason that I can think of that might allow multiple DWI related operation is that the incidents happened so close together that convictions were never made as of the those dates.

At the very least a modified assignment might be in order.
