He said flash suppressors, not sound suppressors. I'm sure you can own a flash suppressor as long as you don't have a threaded barrel and post-ban receiver to build an illegal configuration with.

in some guns like m1 garand, m1 carbine, sks, ak47 etc the vintage add ons are collector items.
