Carbon fiber is flammable along with the epoxy resins used to cure it. Probably fine for the Fudd shooting one mag a year who thinks he's seal team six.

You mag dump a few times through that thing and it's going bye bye.

Carbon fiber has the same thermal conductivity as steel. And resins can be modified with additives to be fireproof. They use CF parts to make rocket engines.

The baffles are CF but the leading edge has Ti inserts. Same for threading and endcaps. It seems they've solved the heat dissipation problem.

Watch the video. Ian mag dumps some 300blk and it holds up fine.
