$25.99 for a box of 500 Herter’s rimfire and $13.99 for Herter’s 9mm box 50. They have Blazer Brass, Winchester 200 round boxes and some steel case, not sure what brand. I like the Herter’s. Quality stuff.
That is good! I was in an LGS this past Saturday and they were getting $30/50 rounds for average 9mm.

No kidding, I am seeing the Venom 9MM that TS had in stock going for more than double that here..... Ahh free market capitalism, I love it.

Quick, mark them all with an "X". You will see them for 3X the cost on NES next week.

Based on what everyone is charging, $13/50 is really good.
I know, I can’t believe that people take advantage and pork people. That’s why I check Cabelas every chance I get. Even some gun shops gouge to some degree. Patience.

Interesting. I've heard the opposite from some people. I've generally stayed away from it but could possibly be the people I heard the negative reviews from where wrong. May have to rethink that if it's what they got.
I‘m basing it on looks alone. I’ll snap a picture of the herters compared to white box.

Interesting that porking is the assumption. I have 1000rd cases of 9mm for sale at $780. Am *I* porking my customers or offering them product they may not be able to find in quantity anywhere else? At that price I am making a little money but a lower % markup than before COVID. It just costs me a mint to acquire and stock ammo. I could only stock what I get from my distributors which is still higher than pre-COVID but I would get 1/2 a case a week or so. Or I can buy on the secondary market and have something in stock.

I guess I am gouging or porking or something for making product available to my customers that want it. It's not like I am MAKING someone buy it. If the price is too high it will sit there and not sell but it flys off the shelf. No limits. Apparently I will "lose" customers for porking them during COVID when I spend more hours searching for ammo to get less product at less profit than I did before COVID.

I cannot support your perspective

Here’s a couple of shots of the bullets. They’re pretty much identical. I ran a box of Herter’s through my 938, 100 rounds a well or so ago and the pistol was fairly clean when I cleaned it. I haven’t run Winchester in a while so I can’t say how dirty it is.

You go, Crackpot! Charging current market rates is what supply and demand, and capitalism is all about. Weird to see so many 2A people acting like socialists, expecting a handout for them. So many people not holding themselves to the same standards they hold others to!

I edited my post to say some gun shops and if you are inflating prices on guns and ammo, then yes you are taking advantage. I said gun shops gouge to some degree. Some of the prices I’ve seen in the classified section classify as porking.

I see nothing wrong with price gouging. Unless you’re Mother Teresa, everyone puts their own interest first. This is not a charity. Those that were smart to acquire and stock up while ammo was cheap and plentiful (while everyone else sat back and didn’t spend the money) should be rewarded. Yeah it’s painful to pay a premium, but if you want it, that’s the price. If you don’t take it, someone else will.

Acting like a socialist because I seek out a bargain? Grow up. I post up a bargain and people bitch about it. Go pay .75 cents a round then and ignore this thread and don’t seek out a bargain at normal price of .28 cents a round. One thing for sure, I’ll never give another heads up for cheap ammo again. Ungrateful.

Well, I appreciated the update and passed it along to friends near Hudson. Thanks!
