I didn't want to muck up the ammo mega thread with this and didn't see anything about it when I searched so here goes. I bought some ammo at Walmart yesterday and I usually do about every 2 weeks or so when they have what I am looking for and besides the staff being idiots I experienced something different yesterday. After the kid studied my LTC for 5 mins, appearing to not know what he was looking for we go over to the register. I had 2 boxes of 9mm, 5 boxes of .223, a box of .22's, and a box of 12ga home defense rounds. So he starts ringing stuff up and after the sirens and blinking lights stopped after the first box he asked if the ammo was for a handgun, I said yes. He does the next box and same thing this happened for every box including the 12ga. which he also wanted to know if it was for a handgun which I said yes to. He said he needed to put it in the computer what it was being used for. Has anyone else experienced this? Not a big deal, just the shear stupidity of these people still astounds me. I don't know why but it does. They are worried about what type of weapon its being used in when half the time they don't ask for your LTC or FID, and what the hell does it matter what you are shooting it out of.
